Hillbilly Flame
This beautiful indeterminate variety is yellow-orange with red streaks/spots, said to originate in West Virginia. It has a great flavor and can be used in a variety of ways. These have been some of our largest tomatoes, up to one pounders. The plants hold their fruit late into the season, a prolific producer. Mild acidity, not real meaty flesh, but great flavor. We throw these in a cast iron skillet and just let them slowly cook down…… They make a great sauce for pasta.
