This vigorous, prolific variety LOVES to climb! Beautifl scarlet red EDIBLE flowers give way to LARGE pods. We let these grow without giving them much attention and they are loaded with large pods full of the most amazing large black and red striped beans. We shell these at end of summer and they go into our winter dried bean storage for soups, stews and much more. A nice meaty, creamy bean when cooked.
